I have made cuttings which are growing nicely. I spray the new ones and see new leaves emerging. Becky gave me a link but has disappeared from the site. I took different pictures from different angles.
This is what happened after I cut the tall cuttings. New leaves started quickly growing.
This is the cutting I started.

This is a Crassula Ovata which is native to South Africa. This particular species will get a small star like flower. The true jade has a woodier trunk/stem and a much smaller leaf and I have never seen one in flower. If you google the latin name it will link you to all sorts of similar succulents. Very healthy looking cuttings. If you have it outside in full sun they will get a red or golden tinge on the edge of the leaves.

The plant is of the jade family. There are many varities in the Crassula family. My suggestion is to google images of the family since it is very difficult to distinguish .
