What could I do with this candy rack?

My daughter had this in her college apartment and now doesn't want it. It was heading to the curb for the scrapers. I wonder if anyone has any cool ideas for it instead. I am always impressed with the ideas I see here, so I was hoping for some inspiration. Thanks!
Metal candy rack on wheels, with wire shelves. The yellow sides are plastic and can be removed or painted.

I might take off the wheels, flip it the long way. add lights and make it into an over-the dining-room table chandelier.

Remove the yellow sides, paint it baby blue or pale pink and give it to a church or daycare center as a diaper and wipes holder!

Do you know how many of these kinds of displays end up in the land fill???? Tons of them!!!

That's why I want to repurpose it. I do believe that the scrapers would take it from my trash to recycle for cash if I did throw it out. They come by every trash day and I don't mind them taking anything they can sell if it helps them out. đŸ˜€

I would remove the yellow advertising and use it to organize my daily work. It appears to have seven racks? One for each day...books for book club on Monday, grocery store flier and coupons for shopping on Tuesday, etc.

It would be great for the craft room. Bins could be placed on shelves with supplies and then you could just wheel it to your work space. Could do the same with Legos or small toys, or I would be tempted to just load it back up with candy lol.

Unless the plastic display serves a purpose, I would remove it. I would spray paint it, possibly replace the wheels, and use it as a to store yarn and/or fat quarter fabric.

I'd list it on ebay for people who have theater rooms in their homes and will pay a good price for authentic decor for their candy storage alongside the popcorn machine.

Never thought of that angle, I did think of "free cycle," however.

IT'S A CUTE, MOBILE OUTDOOR PLANTER! I see removing the advertising, and finding or creating wooden boxes/trays to fit the shelves. Then filling them with cascading and other types of potted plants for an outdoor planter. Maybe leave two or three random boxes/trays unfilled and put in garden decorations and cute/funky antiques, electric candles or lights. Paint the boxes, maybe antique them (or not) - (I'd do bright primary colors, but you could use colors to match your house colors, and paint the stand to match) and add vintage advertising or cute sayings along the sides. When building the boxes, you could make a regular 4 sided box, or make a box with a back and two sides, but at the front put a piece of decorative molding to keep everything from sliding out, while creating a better viewing profile. I think either way would look lovely.

Sounds like you're on your way to making a unique planter! I was thinking of using the trays to hold plants in pots, as opposed to using them as the planter itself, but I can see doing that now. Don't forget to put something funky on the top of that pole! Cannot wait to see the finished project.

How tall and wide is it? How about using it as a jewelry rack or hair jewelry?

Mount it on its side to the wall, and use the metal pieces jutting out (which will then be in a horizontal line) to to clip hangers into for drying laundry.

Thanks for this thread, I just got the exact same stand from my job brand new out of the box and was looking for ideas for it since the racks are more shallow and slanted at a angle
