Picture isn't showing, but- if it seems like the mirror is too small, I saw a great idea (somewhere!)- using a pearlized metallic glaze or a darker or lighter shade of your wall paint you can paint a large shape on the wall (ie a square for a square mirror, etc.) as a "frame". It really adds dimension!

Or, if you don't want to have to go to a lot of work, (I'm easy!), how about 3 mirrors instead of just one? Do they come in slightly different styles? You could do 3 different "versions" of the same mirror. Or just do 3 of the same. Odd #'s are always more interesting to the eye!

@Joni G I agree that the mirror is too small for such a large space. You could search the thrift stores for a picture (doesn't matter if it is an ugly picture) with a nice frame, then remove the picture and refinish the the frame in a colour that would enhance your space - depends on the other colours in the room and what would be a good accent for your space and the mirror. You could try the frame hanging at the same angle as the mirror or you could place it as it was meant to hang with the mirror being the center focus. You will likely have to screw an eye screw on the back of the frame to hang it. Another way to enlarge it is to build a large enough frame structure to hang the mirror in. Cover the structure in a fabric that will enhance the other room colours and then place the mirror in the center of the frame. This could be inexpensive as well if you have access to a pallet. need a much bigger mirror. also i would also pick an accent color for a little pop of color. put it on the walls with some art.

You can get a large square unframed mirror and attach this mirror to it with double stick mirror tape. I do think it would look nicer it you had it square on the wall. The candle holder on your other wall is the same diamond shape and this mirror would draw more attention it it wasn't hung in the same direction as the candle holder

I agree with all of the above, I was thinking a nice large frame around it would work well like Gail suggested, maybe even paint 'inside' the frame and hang the mirror in the center.

Add to this to make it more interesting. Go to some thrift stores and shop some sales for different items to hang on the wall. The one thing about random pieces is that there is no definite reset arranging required, nothing has to match in size, shape, color or even content! You can have fun and play. A large decorative key between other pieces, or a key rack with some old keys hanging on them would fit nicely under the mirror...add an old lock, or ad a rooster made of plaster...just entertain yourself!

I am thinking, for an inexpensive idea. I would put that mirror in the middle of the collage. And do a collage with empty frames, diff sizes and designs. Maybe use about five diff frames and put the mirror in the middle of it all. I would paint the frames black and silver. Maybe over lapping some of them.

If you decide to only keep the mirror you can balance it with some vinyl wall quotes and they have some with wrap around swirls. i think that would balance out things and look cool!

Definitely need something bigger- whether it is a mirror or art. However, you could also take the candles from the opposing wall and add to the mirrored wall and just have those 2 items.
