Easy
Do not worry if the weather does not freeze. You can make your own frosted lanterns with sea salt. Fun or what? You have to try this! Put the salt in the jar to grow. Interested?!
What You Need: Bottle, sea salt, water. Time. Heat. Put a little salt on the bottom of the jar. Add a little water over the salt. Only little bit. Salt should not begin to swim in the water.
Salt to take a few days to grow up to the top.You can accelerate growth by keeping the jars in the oven at 150 c degrees. Allow the jar to cool down before you take it out of the oven.
Let the salt increases, and add a little water every day on top of the salt. I gave jars all the time to be on top of the radiator. you can use the oven for the second time. It speeds up the reaction. Or you can burn heat candle inside the jar. The heat is good.
Once you've got enough salt for growth. Decorate it or not decorate. The jars look pretty frosty in any case, in the light of a candle.
I wish you a wonderful Christmas season !!

I will try this. Is it regular "table salt" sea salt or kosher salt?
