How to alter a fitted bed sheet from a double to a 3/4 size

It's all about the corners of course. I have a 3/4 size mattress for an antique bed. It's nearly impossible to purchase them.

I would just try to make the sheet work with the top sheet. Unless you want to go for the expense of a professional seamstress which will cost you a fortune.

I have a 3/4 size bed as well and found that adding a foam mattress topper worked to take up the extra fabric in the sheet sizing.

I'm kind of an antique myself. Fitted sheets weren't invented yet way back then so we used a flat sheet for our bottom sheet. Heres a video on how to do a flat sheet with "hospital corners".
