Need cheap and easy way to cover an old linoleum floor..

KMS Woodworks on Mar 15, 2013What type of sub floor is under this? If you have a regular plywood sub floor I would go with ceramic or porcelain tile. If the lino comes up easy, take it out if not you could install some 1/4" backer right over the top. Screwing it down about every 6 to 8 inches. The tile is then set on this. I have down this a number of time with great results. Tile will be super easy to keep clean and will last for decades.Helpful Reply
