Kraft Paper Deer Antlers & Poinsettia Flowers

Deer antlers seem to be everywhere. They were mostly for rustic decor but not anymore. Every type of style seems to have some.
For a few seconds we thought about going to the store and buying some, but that idea went out with the idea of going out, looking and searching, and hoping we can find just what we were looking for AND at the right price. Making some it is.
This couldn't be easier. We went outside for some branches, wrapped them in some leftover packing paper (long 1/2-1 in strips aprox..), and glued the ends.
For the flowers, we cut out some petal using no pattern, applied some hot glue at the bottom center of each petal, and pinched it around some floral wire. Some extra leftover wrapping paper was alternated between the packing paper petals. They were then applied until the flower was full. The packing paper was cut in long strips and wrapped around the stem.

These can easily be added to a floral display, basket, wreath, tree, etc. For any additional details, or to find other ways to make the most with what you have, please feel free to drop by our site.
