Hi everyone! This is my submission for this year's blog hop here on Hometalk and I couldn't be more thrilled.
It all started on a bright and cool December afternoon when we were doing some yard clean-up. I cut a few of these spindly branches because I just knew I could turn them into something fun!
It all started on a bright and cool December afternoon when we were doing some yard clean-up. I cut a few of these spindly branches because I just knew I could turn them into something fun!
I turned to my trusty copper spray paint and gave them a little life. I also dug out an old hurricane lamp I had hiding away in the basement.
I used an old gardening book to cut out paper leaves and feathers and then I added numbers to each of them.
And there you have it! A modern and understated, natural take on the traditional advent display!
