Chalkboard Christmas Tree Door #HomeForChristmas

I'm excited to be participating in the blog hop sponsored by Hometalk.com and CountryLiving.com. Follow the hashtag to find lots more Christmas DIY projects!
This chalkboard door was one of our first home DIY projects when we moved into our townhouse over 10 years ago.
It's been one of my favorite projects and always a conversation starter. Guests love to write on our door!
It changes through the seasons and the month I decided to turn it into a Christmas tree since my kitchen/dining area is too small for a real tree.
Here's how it looked when I started.
I added branches and needles with some green chalk.
Then was inspired by a new chalkboard lettering book I got to actually add some of my own handwriting.
And here's the finished tree.
Please visit my website for more details, instructions, and a lot more projects, including my 12 Days of Vintage, Upcycled, Recycled, and Repurposed Christmas!

Leave a comment and let me know if you have a chalkboard door or wall at your house.
