Home for Christmas From Farmhouse Chic Blog

Grab a hot cup of cocoa, make yourself comfy and stay awhile! I'm sharing my Winter Wonderland Christmas design with you for 2015! This year I opted for neutral tones, natural accents, faux fur and tons of glitter!
Welcome! It's such a pleasure to have you here today! I am so excited to be sharing my living room decorated for Christmas with you all! As mentioned above, I opted for a Winter Wonderland design this year! It's different from any other Christmas design I have every done..Why you ask? I haven't used an ounce of red! As I see all the gorgeous designs with red, it makes me miss it a bit, but I truly am in love with how everything turned out this year, so there's always next year ;) Right?
The cozy faux fur stockings add so much warmth to this entire design! They are the perfect addition to our warm fire place! We have fires in it often, and crave it's warmth on bitter Winter evenings.
I've also added in my beloved mercury glass, vintage books and two pretty wreaths I scored at Ballard Design outlet for nearly 70% off!! I also added a swag of fresh cedar to each side of my mantel. It adds just the right POP!
If you follow my blog or social media outlets, you may have heard me mention that my 4 year old daughter decorated our Christmas tree this year! Yes, you read that right! I was so impressed with how well she did, that I decided to keep it as is and embrace it's significance and beauty! I added a few pieces, such as, decorative branches, ribbon and the star!

It's all so warm and homey and that crisp white fireplace with the cedar swag, warm candle glow and thick furry stockings is just dreamy!
