Dress Form to Christmas Tree ~ Part 2 #ChristmasTreeAlernatives

The Nutcracker is a holiday classic and served as the inspiration for turning this dress form into a ballet inspired alternative Christmas Tree. Come play dress up!
In Part 1, I shared the tutorial for creating this ballerina tree using inexpensive garland and dollar store tulle. Today we're trimming the tree with thrift store treasures.
Every ballerina needs a tiara!
Now let's go to the ballet! Our story begins when Clara is presented with a toy nutcracker at her parents' Christmas party. After an evening of fun and festivities, she is off to bed and the dream begins...
When the menacing music begins, beware of the Rat King! While I am not a fan of rats--this one has to be the cutest ever! I was thrilled to find him at a local craft store.
The Nutcracker defeats the evil rodent and whisks Clara away to a magical kingdom of snow, dolls...
...and treats! {Would you believe that's .99 clearance from Pier One?!}
There's even a Sugar Plum Fairy...
...and pointe shoes!
Would you consider an alternative tree?
