I think glass tile is a great material for a kitchen backsplash. But I'm curious why you didn't have it run all the way down to the countertop.

the countertop had an existing 4 inch backsplash,I know it's hard to see,but the tile is resting on the 4 inch backsplash.

Is it difficult for a DIY person, I've looked at it in homedepot, but am hesitant because I don't know difficult? On a scale of one to ten with ten being impossible how would you rate the difficulty?

Hey Sandra, sorry I took so long to get back to you. Haven't logged in in a while. I wouldn't attempt a glass tile backsplash for my first DIY project. One drawback is you need a wet saw to cut the tile and the tiles are difficult to work with. I would give it a 5 on the difficulty scale lol
