2 Minute Rustic Wire Ornament Stand

2 Minutes
Easy
A really quick, practically free craft for displaying a special ornament (or two or three or ten!) on a mantel or tabletop. All you need is wire and twine - and no special tools - just a wire snipper!
Here's the DIY. Start with 1-2 feet of wire, depending on the size of your ornament. I used some tangled old garden wire, but you can use any kind, as long as it's 22 gauge or thicker.
Wrap one end of your wire around something round to form a circle.
Fold the wire across the middle of the circle.
At the halfway point, bend the wire straight up in the air.
1-2 inches from the end, make a downward bend.
Finally, a tiny upward bend to form the hook.
Add a little twine bow.
Done! Super easy, practical and cute. Yes, it is basic and plain, and that's what I like about it - it really lets the ornament shine.
