frottage painting technique

Just tried a new painting technique. I used 3 coats of paint to obtain this look. The 1st coat was a semi gloss greenish color. The second coat was metallic copper mixed with glaze. Finally the top coat was high gloss white mixed with glaze.

With new cabinets soon to be installed, I didn't have to be overly cautious about paint on the existing cabinets.
