Lovely work. How large are the tiles on this piece?

    Hi Steve,

These are 6"x6"...30x30 overall. Each design I do is a custom job to fit the space accorded in the kitchen/bath/poolhouse layout. I can use 4x4 and have done 1 foot x 1 foot on corporate floor murals or exterior school murals. These require 3-4 firings to get the realism.

Thanks! I ran a private art school for over 25 years in Cobb County, teaching artists classical realism techniques...this tile surface is only a part of what I do on other surfaces also. Tell me about your company?

I like this look in a kitchen, it's timeless and beautiful nicely done too. the grout lines are small and neutral to show the details of the picture indept. I really like this!

Thanks for the response, Linda. It looks great, and it's a nice size. That's almost exactly the size of the tiles in my shower, so I was daydreaming in the shower today about how this lovely design would look in my house. Of course, I can barely afford soap for said shower right now, so it's just a daydream for a while.

    Hi Steve,

One of the largest tile murals I ever did was at Sable Palm Elementary School in Jacksonville FL...thie mascot is the pink flamingo and the sable palm plant and the mural covered over 100 square feet of 1 foot x 1 foot tiles of flamingo family and palms...it is on the school tower in front of the school..I was on the local TV station with that one. The kids just loved it!

    Hi Terri,

I have plenty more where this came from! Have been painting for a very long time and you look exremely younger than me...so therefore, no envy...just keep painting if you are an artist. Tell me about yourself?
