Junk to Joy Repurposed Sign!

I am always on the look out for trash that can be turned into treasure! Come see how I made this sign for .25...
...so I added a very watered down coat of paint--just enough to stain the pieces.

My favorite local thrift store hosts a weekly warehouse sale of their surplus items and most everything except furniture is .25. A few weeks ago, they had their final sale before Christmas and I picked up a bag of metal bits and pieces. Not much to look at, but I had an idea...
Then I arranged my junky letters and nailed them to a piece of fencing that I'd kept from a repair. It makes a funky addition to my garden, that can be used year round and the patina will only get better as it continues to weather!

"One man's trash......." this looks really good. I also like turning trash into some form of garden "art". I think with this one I would of pondered whether to go with joy or drill a hole at the top and put the allen key in as a hook for hanging a bird feeder, or both!
