growing in containers
this wood platform collects all the water that drains out of the bottom and waters another plant in my garden planter bed next to it.
this was last year 2012

if your budget won"t won't support buying the 5 gal. buckets or can't get them free, there are alternatives....check with a greenhouse builder or hydroponic supply. they should have grow sacks in 5 or 7 gal. size. not for dollars each, but quarters.
