Some powdered laundry detergent and a bucket with a scrub brush. When done set in the sun to fully dry.

    thank you
  • if that doesn't work try the variant of MicroBan that is sold at JonDon for fabrics. Try it on the underside first to make sure it doesn't damage the color at all. MicroBan has more of a residual kill effect and we use the product alot here in atlanta for our flood and mold restoration work

forget the laundry products, forget the furniture & carpet cleaners. THE BEST way to get rid of mold & mildew, is vinegar. not vinegar and...., just straight vinegar. it will not fade the colors, it will not rot the material like bleach will, & it will cean & disinfect in 1 shot. When using vinegar, just spray on, use a brush to get into the tiny areas your hands & fingers can not reach, spray it down with the garden hose, & if possible, hang in the sun to dry. in cases of REALLY BAD mold & mildew, a 2nd or 3rd application may be needed. Is it safe around children & pets? Yes it is. most animals only need to catch a whiff of it & they stay clear of it. If a child was to ingest it, some kids may get a tummy ache, but most will just spit it out because of the terrible taste. Long term effects on children & pets? to my knowledge, there is none.
