Country White End Tables

I am not usually an "end table rescuer", but this pair was just waiting for me to walk into the thrift store and see them.
Not only was there a pair, but the lion hardware and fabulous casters were amazing. They also had removable glass tops that were bursting with possibilities.
Sure, they had their knicks and bruises, but nothing a little Fusion paint couldn't fix. I chose to paint them in their "Champlain" color.
This color is a true country white to me. It was exactly what these tables needed.
I added weathered wood paper underneath the glass tops. WOW! It really finished the table off beautifully and added more character to them.
Not only have these end tables been rescued and made over, but they have changed my mind on picking up end tables. :-)

Is the paper just cut and laid under the glass or did you decoupage it to the table?
