Have a themed party
Themes are fun and adds instant mood for the party! You can chose from variety of themes, like masquerade, 70`s theme, dressing in one specific color (white, gold, silver...)etc.
Decorate with color
If you chose to have themed party, try to use coordinated decorative pieces and colors with your theme. For example, if you chose masquerade, add masks on the sticks in the glasses, or attache them on the the wall with some festive gold ribbons and paper lanterns etc.
Decorate everywhere
Don`t just focus on the tablescapes when decorating for the party. Decorate the whole room and bring the festive feeling to the rest of your space with not expensive decorations like balloons, confetti and streamers. They are so cheep and jet they really create a party atmosphere!
Serve simple food
You don`t have to go over the top with the food on party. Just serve simple finger food like variety of cheese, stuffed mushrooms, meatballs, olives, roasted bruschettas, stuffed eggs etc. Make sure your presentation looks fabulous and easy to get to.
Create a mood with a lighting
Use colorful fleshy light on the ceiling for the dance floor, attache christmas lights on the floor around the whole room and put a beautiful chandelier above the table. This will create a beautiful, festive atmosphere.
Set up a photo booth
To make your party really memorable, set a scene or a area for taking photos. Use paper decorations and balloons to make something lovely and fun!Your party photos will be so much more special!
Have a festive champagne presentation
Of course you are going to serve champagne in the midnight, but you can do it on elegant and fun way. Nothing says party more then champagne "tower". Your guests will love it!!
Have a plan for a safe return
Last, but most important step is to make sure your guests go home safely. If some of your guest go overboard with drinking, make sure they don`t drive. Arrange that someone drives them home, or call a cab. Better safe then sorry!
Whatever you chose for your party, be sure to be safe and have a lot of fun!
