Whether it's a deck or patio; I've always find, make it twice as big as you "think" you need (if that's an option). Many people forget to not only to accommodate the furniture and things, you need ample space around those items. A table and chairs, needs room to pull out the chairs, and space for others to get around the back of them, while people are sitting in them. Plus room for the additional items. Additional items are the ones you see later on "ooohhh... wouldn't that look nice our deck", yes, those items. Love the photo, and the spiral stairs make great use of the space.

So true @Clay B. That was one of the main points we want people to consider. You really need to have plenty of space for your table, chairs, and even people. You also never know what you may want to add to your space too, later on, like you said! Glad you like the deck, it's one of my favorite ones that we've supplied the materials on!
