Faux Etched Glass

Our front door and side lites were plain glass, and I wanted to obscure the view, but still be able to look out. I plotted out a pattern, to size and using spray adhesive, I adhered it to the plastic protector over window film. (You can purchase window film at any Home Depot or Lowe's, etc.) Then I cut the pattern out, and applied to the window using directions on the box. I actually designed mine in CorelDraw, to size, and printed out the pattern on the "poster" setting in my printer menu. I printed out the pattern twice, and hung one pattern on the outside of the window. Since I numbered each piece, I just matched the numbers, and it was like putting together a puzzle.

Wow Pat that is very generous of you. I think my two full glass doors are pretty standard but I will try to measure them tomorrow. Thank YOU!!!!
