I was thinking of my stairwell, but also like the thought of it being on the wall of front door. It's a bold color, but would be beautiful against all the white wood trim

I've painted the wall behind my kitchen sink and around the window navy blue; then I installed a floating white shelf above the window to display my blue and white delft. It looks stunning!
