Organize Kids' Closets Once and For All

Here's a few tricks I've employed to keep baby and kids room closets organized from babyhood on up. Using these tips makes changing out clothing for the seasons a snap, and keeps needed supplies close at hand. Spring cleaning usually means a big decluttering spree for me, and the kids rooms are so easy thanks to these simple strategies!
Using hanging sweater storage shelves is a perfect place to stash extra diapers and supplies. Paper storage drawers also come in handy for sheets and blankets.
Every time you remove a piece of clothing, move the hanger to one side so you always have empty hangers grouped together. I also keep the 'next size up' clothing in a bin in the closet so they're ready when seasons change.
Keep supplies in clearly labeled plastic bins on top shelves so they are within easy reach for adults but not for kids. :)
A few tips: have an outgrown clothing bin; keep instruction manuals for toys and baby items together in a bin to easily locate them; plastic bags come in handy for diaper pails so keep them together on a top shelf
