Skirted sink and IKEA cart remake...
Visit Homeroad.net to see how I added a skirt under the sink for a farmhouse look. I made the farmhouse look on the fabric using painters tape and paint.

Bar cart and hutch/desk
The hutch/desk is a conglomeration of an old hutch, a file cabinet, a saw horse and a file cabinet. All together it makes an eye catching and very functional piece. Read all about it HERE http://bit.ly/2O5UH2Y
Chalk painted kitchen cabinets with the look of a hutch
I painted my kitchen with chalk paint beginning with this small desk area. I added corbels under the top counter to add interest. This was not an easy job and I hired some help to repaint the rest of the kitchen! The chalky paint was sealed with a heavy duty sealer on my kitchen cabinets for durability.

The IKEA cart was repainted and the top stained, A marble slab was added to the top just because it's beautiful!

I hope you enjoyed the tour of my kitchen. If you visit Homeroad.net you will get all the details on this and many more farmhouse styled DIY projects. I love to repurpose old items and make them new and functional again!

How pretty, love the mixmatch look, I just think the look is so cozy and inviting. Love it.

Love the cabinets / to hutch look. What a great idea for a lot of space in a small space. So many kitchens have a nook big enough for that. Bravo.
