One of the main reasons that we clean is to create a healthy environment for our families. Unfortunately, many of the typical household cleaners are filled with toxic chemicals that can be anything but healthy. Here are a few tips for putting together your green cleaning supplies...
Vinegar and baking soda are great natural cleaners and can be used for almost all of your household cleaning. Vinegar is a safe and effective all natural cleaner. It is safe around children, gentle on your skin, and very economical.
Baking soda is another great all natural cleaning product. it can be mixed with water to make a paste and is great for removing odors. I like to keep some in a shaker to easily sprinkle it on the areas that I am cleaning.
Microfiber cloths, spray bottles, and toothbrushes round out our cleaning bucket. For more info you can check out my post here: http://www.cleanandscentsible.com/2013/01/the-household-organization-diet_4.html
