High Chair Cover Tutorial

I found a high chair at a garage sale that was in great shape but the cover was not my taste and well worn. So I made a new one and in this post I'm sharing how I made it step by step so that you can make a new cover too.
First I took off the old cover laid it on my new fabric to use as a template when cutting out the pieces for the new cover.
I cut out pieces for the front and back out of the animal fabric print.
For the back of the chair I made a pocket.
Then I cut out pieces from white fleece for the inside of the chair cover.
I laid the pieces of fabric together (front, back, fleece) and sewed around the edges leaving a 1/4 inch seam allowance and stopping a few inches before the spot where I began so as to leave an opening.
I pulled the cover through the opening so as to turn it right side out.
I stitched the opening closed in order to finish the cover.
