10 Minutes' Time and a $1 Junk Find Organized a Closet

I'm always taking home unusual items I've found, to see what else might be done with them. These were spotted recently while I was volunteering at a local thrift store. I didn't know what the heck they were supposed to be for ... but they were only a buck for all four, and I immediately knew what I wanted to try with them.
There were four of the "L" gizmos, each consisting of two separate parts, and then with a curly cue piece hooked onto the end piece.
First I dismantled and separated all the individual parts. I saved back the pieces I wasn't going to use for this project. Hey, who knows what I could do with those, right?!
Next I pulled out all my (tons of) purses from the closet, and sorted them into two groups -KEEP and DONATE. I explain my easy decluttering process in the full post.
Now all that was left to do was slip my JUNK hooks through the individual wires of the shelf.

Just look at how it turned out. My purses are neatly stored but out in view for easy selection
And they aren't cluttering up that top shelf. That gives me more storage room :)

Hi, Kat. Great to have you stop by. This project worked well for me. There are different types of hooks from the hardware store that would work, I'm sure. But as soon as I saw these, I knew what I'd do with them.

Hi, Heather. I've rearranged my closet a bit since this post, but am still using the hooks and appreciating how they helped organize things for me. :)
