Old School Desk Makeover

One Saturday we were driving around looking at garage sales when I saw this old desk sitting out at one of the sales with a $1 price tag on it! I'm pretty sure I didn't even wait for my husband to stop the car before I was jumping out to buy it. It took a little work to make it over but it was so worth it and my son loves his desk.
Initially I washed and then sanded down the top to take off all the markings and stickers that I could.
Then I spray painted the metal parts of the desk and stained the wooden parts.
Finally I applied a clear coat of poly to the desk. For more details and pictures please see my full blog post!
