Curb Side Chair Makeover

I found 6 of these on the curb and brought them home hoping and praying I wouldn't have to put them back out on my curb.
They had good bones and the straps were still really strong, and I thought, yep, I'm going to go kind of with the nautical look. I spray painted them all brass color :)
Then I added denim blue cushions which I got for $4.00 each! They were starting to look good.
...And now they're sitting on my front porch making me smile every time I see them because they only cost me $28!! Woohoooo!! So don't throw or give away your outdoor furniture, just give it a quick makeover and you'll love it even more!

So you didn't sand or prime? I have two chairs, loveseat and swing-sofa just like this. Where did you purchase those cushions? Awesome job, btw.

Wow! They look great! I am jealous! (In a good and happy for you way) Why don't my neighbors put any good junk on the curb?

Thank you! I had to leave my neighborhood and find these in the good garbage neighborhood! hahahahaha
  • I'd love to be able to see the back of the chair because the design is neat, but I guess it would be too uncomfortable without a pillow. Maybe a small lumbar pillow? Maybe not!

My personal preference would be to use silver paint and a patterned pillow.....or a pillow with some gold in it to match the gold paint.

Anyway, a great find and nice job.
