Curb Side Chair Makeover
by

I found 6 of these on the curb and brought them home hoping and praying I wouldn't have to put them back out on my curb.
They had good bones and the straps were still really strong, and I thought, yep, I'm going to go kind of with the nautical look. I spray painted them all brass color :)
Then I added denim blue cushions which I got for $4.00 each! They were starting to look good.
...And now they're sitting on my front porch making me smile every time I see them because they only cost me $28!! Woohoooo!! So don't throw or give away your outdoor furniture, just give it a quick makeover and you'll love it even more!
Enjoyed the project?

Dee B on Jul 22, 2016Wow! They look great! I am jealous! (In a good and happy for you way) Why don't my neighbors put any good junk on the curb?

I'd love to be able to see the back of the chair because the design is neat, but I guess it would be too uncomfortable without a pillow. Maybe a small lumbar pillow? Maybe not!
My personal preference would be to use silver paint and a patterned pillow.....or a pillow with some gold in it to match the gold paint.
Anyway, a great find and nice job.
