Update Your Brass Fireplace Without Removing the Doors
They are everywhere in homes, the builder's grade brass fireplace surrounds that have the lovely brass plated strips. There is an easy way to update these without having to remove the glass doors and make it a huge production!

I used spray paint made for high heat (like gas grills)..... but make sure you remove the doors and spray outside... The fumes are horrible. (it does mention this on the can). I did mine about 10 years ago, use the fireplace alot and have had no issues with the paint.
