How to turn an old shirt into a runner

I bought an $8 shirt from the thrift store, cut it strategically, and layered it together to make a nice runner for my bureau. No sewing!
cut off the collar and cuffs (you don't need these), then cut the panels and arms of the shirt apart. layer them on top of one another with the frayed ends tucked under until you get the look you want!
no sew! just layer and tuck!
