Really like this, carpet gets dirty. Im going to do this as well. -
I JUST HAD NEW STEPS PUT IN...I HAVEN'T PAINTED YET, THANKS FOR A GREAT IDEA! -
Love it....we are in the process of replacing our worn out carpets in the house and only have 1 room left to go and then the stairs. We were just going to replace the carpet, but I am liking this Idea much better....beautiful color palette BTW...very nice -
i like it -
We still have done nothing with our basement stairs... Now I know exactly what to do..... and it will introduce everyone to all the colors of the house.....PERFECT!!!! -
great use of samples...I love the color palette too. -
I like the different look of the angles "up" and "down" -
I like that you kept the top tread boards all the same color. We've painted our basement stairs also and then to prevent wear we installed rubber tread to the top of each step-covers the middle so there is still color to be seen. -
FANTASTIC! -
Love this...but how do you keep paint from wearing off the stairs? -
LYNNN--NOTE DEE--2 UP. -
clear carpet protector too, just cut to size :) this way the paint color still comes through. -
This is so pretty, bright and fun now!! -
I added a few new pics to this post! -
Beth--I love this project :) way to go! -
I didn't think it could get any better, but it did! -
Love what you've done! -
Oh wow what a difference, so bright and inviting! I love it! -
Oh pretty pretty!! Loving this look! -
Fantastic, Beth! Your stairs are amazeballs! -
Beth, what an amazing transformation! Love the pics! -Matt -
You cant clean them with that shark grip in them. -
My stairwell steps are all white and I love the look. However they do need to be washed every now and then. I'm thinking of painting the middle of the steps a color we have and have it look like a runner. The white does take a bit of a beating. You did a great job on yours.

very nicely done! -
How beautiful. Very formal on the downward view... fun and whimsical on the upward view. It must make you smile everytime you look at it! Nice job!
