How to Build a Star Wars TIE Fighter Bookshelf

Build a TIE Fighter bookshelf for the Star Wars fan in your life! This project is a great way to use up scrap wood you may have in your garage.

DIY Star Wars TIE Fighter Bookshelf
Pocket holes
Cut the piece of plywood 2 hexagon-like shapes.


Cut the 1x8 board into 2 equal length pieces.


Tape off a section on the 1x8 boards (as shown in the picture above), and painted the exposed area within the semi-circle with black paint.


Join the boards together and seal the project with your favorite varnish. I had fun building this little shelf and it has brought some much needed order to my son's growing book collection.

    i would love to try this - if I just had more info - eg all the measurement (in metric), angles, thickness of the wood, other material needed (eg srews metal angles). its great to say "Tape off a section on the 1x8 boards (as shown in the picture above)" if the picture above just shows pieces of wood and nothing else.
