Solid Granite Landscape Paver Patio - Before & After Pictures.

Our customer had an old outdated concrete patio slab behind their house. They decided to use our light blend 3 piece recycled granite pavers for the overlay. Our granite pavers are only 1 1/4" thick so they are thin enough for a concrete overlay yet strong enough for driveways.

What do you think?

Mike - the installer for this project used Mason Bond to adhere the granite pavers to the concrete slab and it is a mortar joint. There are many different installation methods that work well... just depends on the application and environment.

Also, the customer used a stone sealer/color enhancer which made the colors even richer.

Really creative recycling & incredible transformation. That would be great for a driveway, the imperfect & differing sizes/colors makes it perfect!

sounds like a great idea Ari, depending on the psi rating for the pavers.

Yes these pavers are great for vehicular applications. The PSI rating ranges from 17,000 to 24,000.

Here are a few completed driveway projects.

The after is a much better look. But in defense of the before, if it were staged as the after was, it may not have looked so bad.

Ari - here is a close-up shot of our tumbled granite paver. As you can see the surface is textured so its not slick when wet.

We will have a booth at both Atlanta Home & Garden Shows this year- Gwinnett Civic Center and Cobb Galleria. You can see our granite pavers there!

Talk about making a dull, uninteresting, same-o, same-o area really POP with something as simple as textured pavers... I'm awed!

I'd give it a 11. I LOVE the way the colors in the pavers blended with the colors of the bricks.

Hi Shell, We do not currently have any distributors in IL. We have shipped our pavers there before... however the shipping might be expensive.

Fee free to email me information on your project and I can provide you with a quote on material and shipping. Thanks for your interest.
