Bemuda grass now with weeds that are green and tall, What do I need to put on my lawn???

Should I spray the grass with a weed killer or what. It is cold here in Atlanta today so I did not know what exactly what to do or to put on the Bemuda lawn. Please give me advice.. Thanks in advance Shirley

Wait until it warms up next week Shirley when we reach 70 for a couple of days, then you can apply some Trimec for Southern Lawns to kill the broad leaf weeds. It is also time to apply your crabgrass preventive. Please follow label instructions for the Trimec or any other lawn chemical so that we can limit the amount of toxins we are adding the environment. http://pbigordon.com/pdfs/TrimecLawnWeedKiller-SL.pdf

Shirley, I don't have personal experience to draw from to tell you whether Image is better than Trimec, but I believe it shouldn't be that hard to find. Around me, Ace Hardware carries a pretty complete selection of garden herbicides, and so should any good, large garden center.

Image works a bit slower, both are effective you can find either at the places Douglas suggested-:-)
