Unique Space Saving Shelf Idea!

Pieces of Time East
by Pieces of Time East
When opening my store, I had massive walls (20 ft ceilings) and wanted a unique vintage alternative to regular shelving. I had 3 extra French Provincial tables....one coffee table and 2 end tables, so I had my husband cut them in half and created an eye catching display without taking up to much space!
I picked these up for $20 for all 3 on Craigslist....
My husband cut them each in half...directly down the middle..length wise.
I painted each of them in a different Kristi Kuehl Pure Home Paint Color, attached a couple "L" brackets to each, and hung them on the wall!
It is necessary of my most complimented display, and customers often want to buy them off the wall!
Would work GREAT in any small space!!

I showed this to a friend of mine in the retail gift business, and she decided to use it in her shop..... its a hit with her customers and a focal point of her shop.... and certainly has added some unique personality to a somewhat boring wall shelving! Thanks!

Just wanted to tell you this is fantastic. I love the idea. i think i read you did this in a business. I think I'd like this in my townhouse gong up the steps. I have very high ceilings. I think in the house the tables would need to be cut a little more thin.

Thank You for the idea. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If it don't look good haven't loss anything but a few Goodwill tables and my time. I love trying new things.
