So, you know you want to paint, but you don't know what color:
Putting the wrong paint color on your walls isn't the end of the world - it's just pretty darn annoying! Instead of playing that guessing game and trying to pick the prettiest colors of the season, here are the top paint colors for 2016 according to the Hometalk community:

Bathroom

This season, people are loving the soothing, spa-like warmth that these colors bring to their bathrooms. Lean into the neutrals if you're searching for that farmhouse fresh look, or adopt some bronze or purple, for a drop more drama.

Kitchen

The pristine, white kitchen will always be a classic, but if you're looking to incorporate some color this year, Hometalkers are torn between two totally different styles: Chic and stylish greys & blues, or vibrant and bright yellows and oranges! Both are great options for 2016. (Throw in a chalkboard wall for fun and convenience!)

Living Room

Though there are places in the house where it's fun to get loud, the living room is a great space to tone down this year. Choose a warm, inviting color, to make guests feel welcome and relaxed.

Bedroom

With bedrooms, it's all about the blue! Depending on your style, you can go super light, like a cloudy sky hue, or dive deep into a rich navy. Remember that blue tones look gorgeous when paired with other pops of color and especially small touches of metallic.

Happy painting, everyone!

I don't see any shades of green choices, is it "out" this year, I love green and have an open concept living room, kitchen, dining room and entry way, all walls one beige color, any suggestions?

Wow, beautiful colors. What color(s) do you think would be beautiful for a home library/piano room?

I'm planning to paint my bedroom in an Aqua tone. I love the darker colors but my bedroom is only 10x12; should I go lighter to make the room appear bigger?

I used French Silver in Behr Ultra for a masculine bedroom. In daylight, it looks like a grayish blue. However, the evening lights draw out the warmer grayish tones.
