I have made a few benches from cribs and will definately try his!!! We should all find more cribs curbside as the regulaions on cribs have changed!!! Thats where I get all my cribs to repurpose....curbside!! ( along wih mos everyhing else I find!! I'm such a trash diver!! I LOVE Itt

I grew up in NY ( upstate) and my mom loves to "curb shop" but they have rules now ( and my Dad hates it so he won't stop most times if there is anything good). Where do you find your "goodies"? I follow your blog and see all the great things you make/repurpose!!!
I love curb shopping! Not available right in my area, I have to travel to the metro area where they have the bulk pick up days. However, once you start collecting junk, friends, family, neighbors will "donate" to your cause! :)
This is absolutely amazing! I'm definitely inspired. My neighbor and I are embarking on a project to turn a curb-side wooden palette into a coffee table. We'll definitely be posting the process. :)
I am also fairly new to this forum also. I think the plate rack is great. I did not know if you have worked with milk paint before. I would think it would be perfect with type of work. You can do a lot of diffrent looks with milk paint. Good luck on your next project.

Lately, I've seen many ideas on repurposing cribs. Why is this happening after all the cribs at my house were discarded due to new safety standards? Love it!
