What style and color shutters would you go with?

Can you suggest what color you think would go best for shutters? Also what style do you think would look best? Batten or just the standard slotted version? This is for a small lake cabin and bunk house. My first thought was going with white batten style. Would that be too much white because of the trim?

Shutters? I think teal awnings would be adorable. Give some deminsion and depth to your facade.
