From Mirror To Memo Board - Wayfair and Hometalk DIY Blogger Challenge
I was so beyond excited to be invited to participate in this DIY challenge sponsored by Wayfair and Hometalk. We were given a choice of three products and had to incorporate one of three design themes: rope, black and white or geometric pattern. I chose the Stratford Wall Mirror with Shelf and rope for the project. I decided to turn the mirror into a memo board using poster board, but the memo board can easily be "popped" out and turned back into a mirror.
Did you know rope works just as well as cork! I am not really sure why I decided to stick a thumbtack in it one day, but I did and was surprised at how well it held and it doesn't tear like cork sometimes can. The rope around the edges gave me a little extra space to add a few more things to the memo board.
