Plain turned Fabulous Lampshade in 3 Easy Steps!

In 30 minutes, 13 dollars, and 3 easy steps I transformed a plain, cream lampshade using fabric, ribbon, and rope. I love the new look and it cost only $13 in materials, in addition to the shade itself.
The final product - a simple shade covered in fabric, then wrapped in ribbon and rope.
Here is how the shade started - pretty, but kinda boring and without character. Don't worry, we can fix that!
First, I added fabric to the shade using spray adhesive to the shade and fabric, then wrapped the fabric tight around the shade.
Second, I used spray adhesive to attach a ribbon near the bottom of the shade. Lastly, I put rope and the top and bottom edge of the ribbon using hot glue. WOW, what a big difference!
