A friend just sent me a photo of this Daphne odora with her son standing in for scale.

She was thanking me. I gave it to her as a gift, she thinks it was in 1992. It sure looks happy!

    That is awesome, Erica. I know Daphnes have a reputation for being finicky, but I had a Daphne burkwoodii that grew to about that size. Finally one year an early heavy snowstorm caused it to basically split in half. That was a sad day.
