tall perennial of the day, the cutleaf coneflower is a cold hardy perennial that is hardy from Zone 5-9 (possibly
colder). It is reported to be a butterfly magnet and it grows 4-7' tall. In my garden I don't stake it. I love it! The botanical name is subject to confusion but just look for Rudbeckia 'Herbstonne'
