Pallet Tray for the Coffee Table

I love a great challenge, and I also love an easy pallet project!
I took part in a challenge. I'm always trying to stay organized, and the coffee table, being a horizontal surface is one big challenge.
Seriously, all of these remotes need a new home. A remote for the t.v. cable box, dvd player, space heater, and a phone! Too much clutter.
Pallet boards have so much character, so many great projects just waiting to be done.
I cut the pieces on my compound miter saw, being very careful to avoid any existing screws and nails. I used the 2x4 frame portions to create the handles and the sides of the tray.
I used Gorilla Wood Glue and finish nails to build the frame out of the lighter wood, and finish nails to attach the pallet boards to the frame. I love having the stamp showing on the inside of the pallet wood frame.
