These little side tables or nightstands are so cute. First find a suitcase that is flat and has a hard top. Make sure there is no slant or things will slide off. Next find a base I have used oversized candle holders, a pillar and even a broken chair.

Center your suitcase on the pillar and mark around the base. Next drill 4 holes into the bottom of the suitcase inside the outline of the base. Open your suitcase and screw the suitcase to the stand using a washer around the screw’ Close the suitcase and paint.

I use Kristi Kuehl Pure Home Paint and Finishes. It’s VOC Free and Non-toxic and cleans up with soap and water.

Do you finish top or all of suitcase with glaze or protective finish? I'm worried about water stains, scuff marks, etc...

ALSO TAKE A SUITCASE AND PUT 4 SM FEET ON EACH CORNER..PAINT PRETTY COLOR .LEAVE OPEN AND ATTACH TO WALL. PLACE PRETTY PILLOW INSIDE FOR SMALL DOG ARE CAT.BED.SO CUTE..
