the way up to the ceiling. Then replace tube TV with flat panel. I'm a DIYer...can I do this?! Craftsman style house..I also don't want to mess with the craftsman theme too much.
how do I close this box in and put up a flat panel? Want white stacked quartz on whole wall. Do I tile over the tile or take if off?
Full view. I just think this fireplace could be way cooler
I need to make these built ins better somehow?
This fireplace is in a master bedroom I should have added. A huge room with a weird wine bar and I have no idea what to do with it.

  • Robin, you forgot a few other things. Beer, Bandaids, Beer, tissues to wipe tears, Beer. ;)

This isn't a hard project, really. I finished one a number of years ago and Robyn is right. I ordered my stone, cement and the wire at a store that deals with this product exclusively. They gave me instructions and off I went! I was 58 yrs old at the time and NEVER tried anything like it before. But remember to use rubber gloves when working in cement or it will eat your skin off.
