I snapped up the broken down table base from the curb. I had to glue and secure the portion of the leg that had broken off. A little bit of wood filler and this base was ready for a brand new life.
I knew this table needed chairs and I found the perfect set at my local Habitat Restore. I used deglosser on the pieces to make sure the paint would adher
The base coat of the DIY chalk paint is a color called Fun Yellow. But I'm not done yet.
To this set the crackle! pop! I applied a crackle finish in a creamy white DIy chalk paint over the fun yello.
I bought a table top round from Lowes for a cozy, little table for two.
I used white wash pickling stain to finish off the top of the table and sealed it with several coats of polycrylic.
