I have a large garden and cook with fresh herb a lot so going for a green kitchen was almost a no brainer for me.

That is really cool, by keeping the rest of the kitchen a bit makes the ceiling an unexpected focal point. I love it. -
I think it's something I would have to get used to. But I do like that it is an original idea. I am one to think outside the box...so I applaud your hard work, the outcome is very nice!!!!
